Twice Weekly Meditation Group Mon & Wed 12 - 12:30 pm CET

Weekly online session to meditate, connect and learn

Why join a meditation group with so many free meditation apps and content out there? Science, tradition, and lived insight all tell us the same thing: when you go at it alone, your practice waxes and wanes. A meditation group will bring true depth and consistency to your practice, especially during difficult life transitions and far from home.

Is This You?

01

Struggling to meditate regularly

You’ve tried to meditate and you liked it, but it’s hard to keep it going. Or you’ve been practicing for a long time, but your practice waxes and wanes, and does not give you the solid anchor you need in day-to-day life - especially when life feels unstable or unfamiliar.

You’ve tried to meditate and you liked it, but it’s hard to keep it going. Or you’ve been practicing for a long time, but your practice waxes and wanes, and does not give you the solid anchor you need in day-to-day life - especially when life feels unstable or unfamiliar.

02

Seeking safe, authentic, culturally inclusive connections

You’d love to meet others who share your interest in mindfulness. In groups, you don’t always feel safe, understood, or culturally seen. You long for deeper connection, without having to explain your background or translate your pain.

Our Guidelines for Mindful and Multicultural Dialogue open up a safe, welcoming space: no pressure to share, no unwarranted advice, no judgement. The freedom to just be yourself, and to let the moment be what it is. With members from all over the world, you’ll experience real connection, shared humanity, and the joy of being met just as you are. You’ll find spiritual friendship with others who are applying what they learned to their lives.

03

Wanting to learn more and deepen in the practice

You know this practice is deep — but you're overwhelmed by all the content out there, or feel stuck doing the same things over and over. You don’t have the chance to ask specific questions to a teacher.

You’ll explore a new practice topic each week, and have the opportunity to ask questions to an experienced teacher about your specific context. You will select the practice topics, so the sessions will meet where you are in life. You’ll leave sessions with resources, book recommendations, videos, quotes and poetry.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness meditation is the practice of being aware of what is here and now in a kind, non-judgemental way, rather than being somewhere else like we often are - in the future, in the past, in our to do list, in our pain or in our stories. It is simple, but not easy. Like any sports or music practice, mindfulness is a skill we learn and it strengthen over time.

Hundreds of scientific studies show that mindfulness:

  • decreases symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, pain,
  • improves sleep, focus, memory,
  • decreases illness related distress,
  • decreases the use of abusive substances,
  • slows down cellular aging.

Practitioners report that a regular practice helps them:

  • find an experience of inner safety, stability and resilience,
  • be more present, positive and joyful,
  • slow down and find an inner calm in the midst of chaos,
  • get to know ourselves, and like who we are.
